CaringWise Founder One of Five to Graduate from the Summer 2010 Founder Institute Boston

From a starting class of 36, five companies graduated from the demanding Founder Institute's inaugural Boston program. Among them is CaringWise, Inc. a web- and mobile-enabled platform for family caregivers. Conceived and developed during the course of the 3-month program, CaringWise is a home health care work flow platform that simplifies caregiving, reduces stress and improves health care outcomes.

Boston, MA, October 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- In the beginning there were 36; at the end, that number had dwindled to five stalwart start-ups, companies boasting finely honed business plans, well-rehearsed pitches—and in one case a product that launched during the graduation dinner. This was the Founder Institute’s Summer 2010 Boston Graduating Class, who received their diplomas last night.

The Founder Institute is a global start-up incubator that takes companies from concept to pre-launch through a targeted—and highly accelerated—program. Participants test in (based on personality, not their business idea) then spend the next four months crafting every aspect of their businesses under the tutelage of experienced start-up CEOs—mentors who remain accessible and engaged long after the program is over.

But don’t be fooled by that long-term support; The Founder Institute program is as tough as it is fast-paced. “The Founder Institute is not for the faint-hearted,” notes graduate Trevania Henderson. Her company, CaringWise, Inc. (www.caringwsie.com) is dedicated to relieving stress on the family caregiver, by helping co-ordinate the entire caregiving team and providing the online tools and access needed to share and simplify caregiving.

Other graduating companies are CodeStump, Inc. (www.codestump.com) Conversation Media, Inc. (www.conversationmedia.org), EximFlow (www.eximflow.com) and ThinqTeq (www.thinqteq.com).
