Miami-Dade County Holds Special Election, Runoff Announced for June 28

Tampa, FL, May 28, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Miami-Dade County Elections Office has posted unofficial election results for the special election on May 24, 2011. Eight hundred and twenty nine precincts participated in 11 contests. The results of the election, which are being displayed online utilizing SOE Software’s Clarity ENR, can be found at:

Unofficial election results report 193,703 ballots cast in the Miami-Dade County Special Election. At the time of this press release, no candidates had received 50 percent of the unofficial votes cast in the County Mayor race. A runoff election has been set for June 28 between Julio Robaina and Carlos Gimenez. Jose Oliva had received the most unofficial votes for State Representative 110th House District with 3,858 votes cast in his favor.

Miami-Dade County’s unofficial election results provide vote totals broken down by precinct. Miami-Dade’s election night results are available online using Clarity ENR and lists the ballots cast and turnout on a precinct-by-precinct basis. The public may review or download and print a complete copy of the election results.
