)-- Every Monday for the next 6 weeks, Tea Largo Beverage Company will be introducing a new charming Boba Buddy. Each of these adorable handmade key chain friends have a limited edition of 100. Beginning with Leilani, these little buddies all have a story to tell. Their bios tell of their adventures, likes and crushes. In conjunction with their release, Tea Largo will also be hosting a Facebook photography contest. Entrants will need to creatively photograph their Boba Buddies around town and upload their photos to Facebook. Voting will be left up to the Facebook universe.

Boba Buddies can be found only at Tea Largo Beverage Co, located in Lakeside Village, beside PicassoZ Art Café. They feature bulk loose leaf teas & infusions, specialty drinks and the Dr. Smoothie 100% crushed fruit line. Their most popular drink being the Bubble tea. When Tea Largo first opened in the fall of 2007, the staff did a lot of explaining that "boba" was invented as a kids drink in Taiwan and how large, chewy tapioca pearls get slurped thru a fat straw.
