The SF Birth & Baby Fair Brings Summertime Family Fun to the Fort Mason Center

The Birth and Baby Fair is the premier event for new and expectant parents in the Bay Area.

San Francisco, CA, June 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The SF Birth and Baby Fair returns to the Fort Mason Festival Pavilion, June 25th, 2011. The Fair will showcase workshops and demonstrations for new and expecting parents, as well as feature original mom and baby products from Bay Area designers and businesses. The Fair runs from 10am-4pm, with the first 150 families through the door receiving special goody bags.

Participants can watch demos or attend workshops on topics like baby sign language, cord blood banking, healthy sleep habits and making your own baby food. The Fair also hosts representatives from local birthing and early parenting communities. Doulas, midwives, childbirth educators and lactation consultants will be on hand with helpful advice and answers for curious new and expectant parents. Local and national designers and businesses will be on display, featuring unique and beneficial wares and services for moms and babies at special Fair-day prices. For young ones, a tot play area and art corner offers all-day fun time. Tired moms can find privacy to nurse and rest in the special Nursing Nook or enjoy complimentary spa services such as massages, brow threading, mocktails and more in their own Pamper Lounge.

The Fair will also be raffling off prizes donated by exhibitors and sponsors, including Bumbleride strollers and carrycots. Also, the first 150 families to attend will receive gift bags with goodies from over 50 different designers and businesses.
