The Offshore Group to Provide Services in Mexico to Senior Aerospace GmbH

Tucson, AZ, June 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Senior Aerospace GmbH, based in Schaffhussen, Switzerland, has signed a five year contract for the provision of outsourced manufacturing in Mexico support, or, “shelter company,” services with Offshore International, Inc. of Tucson, Arizona. Prior to the establishment of Senior Aerospace GmbH, Senior operated in Mexico within The Offshore Group’s ISO 2001:2008 certified Shelter Plan under the name of Senior Operations LLC (Ketema Division).

The company occupies 70,066 square feet of industrial space at The Offshore Group’s La Angostura Industrial Park in Saltillo, Coahuila. Services at that site will be provided by The Offshore Group’s Manufacturas Zapalinamé. They include:

· Human resource management
· Payroll and benefits administration
· Import and export management
· Industrial building maintenance

Senior Aerospace Structures Division Chief Executive Officer, Jerry Goodwin commented on the new agreement: “We look forward to continuing the Mexico relationship with The Offshore Group that began a decade ago when we were known as Senior Operations LLC (Ketema Division). Senior Aerospace, GmbH, manufactures products for the power generation and aerospace industries, having recently been awarded a contract from a major aerospace OEM which is an area that Senior is investing in order to grow.

The Offshore Group is the largest provider of outsourced manufacturing support, or “shelter” services in Mexico. Currently, 57 manufacturers are in production are at The Offshore Group’s three industrial parks in Sonora and the city of Saltillo, Coahuila. Through its Vangtel subsidiary The Offshore Group also offers services to companies occupying the call center, IT development and BPO markets, while the International Logistic Solutions Company (ILS) is a leading provider of supply chain services. The Offshore Group has recently initiated operations in Mexico’s second largest city, Guadalajara.
