Pacific Ridge School Reaches Milestone with First Graduating Class

Carlsbad Non-Profit, Independent School Students Announce College Selections.

San Diego, CA, June 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Pacific Ridge School, a 7th-12th grade non-profit, independent school in Carlsbad, congratulates the 49 members of its first graduating class on their acceptances to 143 different colleges and universities. Students in the Class of 2011 mark a historical milestone for the school, not only as the first graduating class, but also the students who have brought the school’s curriculum and programs to the attention of schools in regions throughout the United States, and even across the Atlantic.

“We are so proud of each of our seniors and we look forward to hearing stories during their return visits of how they are building on their Pacific Ridge School experience,” said Dr. Eileen Mullady, head of school, Pacific Ridge School.

Pacific Ridge School was founded to prepare students for college and purposeful life in a community that fosters academic excellence, ethical responsibility, and global engagement. Since its founding in 2007, Pacific Ridge School has reached several significant milestones in the building and expansion. In 2009, Pacific Ridge broke ground on its energy-efficient high school building to accommodate up to 360 ninth through twelfth grade students. In 2011, the school broke ground on its 35,236 sq. foot Athletic Center. Now the school will graduate its first senior class.
