First Regional Hospital Wellness Conference to Take Place August 4, 2011 in Los Angeles, CA

In the January 2011 Report of the AHA “A Call to Action: Creating a Culture of Health,” one of the key reasons for hospitals to improve their health and wellness programs is to “provide an example of health to the community.” Top challenges hospitals have faced when attempting to implement effective health and wellness programs include motivating employees over time, managing financial restraints or limitations, measuring program effectiveness and ROI and creating a culture of health.
