London Based Founder of The Self Help Guru Project Asks "Do Self Help Books Help?"

There are many Self Help books out there claiming to offer the recipe for personal development success but do Self Help books actually help? London's Self-Help Guru student and blogger, James Clark put's the books and himself to the test.

London, United Kingdom, June 24, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Self Help Guru Project is one London man's experiment to engage with the idea that we can create the life of our dreams by following specific "laws" of success. The project started in June 2011 when he purchased a copy of Think and Grow Rich, written by the author Napoleon Hill and will be just one of a variety of self help tools and techniques applied during the project.

Since starting the initiative the projects founder says he is motivated by the potential for success and has already started to see benefits in both his business and personal life.

"Self Help books have received a degree of skepticism in the media and I am guilty of my own doubts on some of the claims made by this $10bn industry but so far so good" he says.

The Self Help Guru Project is a two year initiative that can be followed on the blog, http://selfhelpguruproject.com
