Kelly, a stockholder in the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice group, delivered “There Goes My Everything, Eminent Domain & Business Damages” at the three-day annual conference of the Florida Association of County Engineers and Road Superintendents (“FACERS”) in Orlando, Florida. His presentation was based upon his article previously published in The Florida Bar Journal.

Kelly represents individuals and entities at the trial court level. He focuses his practice on real property disputes, including eminent domain matters. Kelly begins his fifth year of service on the Florida Bar Association’s Eminent Domain Committee on July 1 and is a member of The Association of Eminent Domain Professionals (AEDP).

In addition to eminent domain matters, Kelly handles other real property disputes, business tort claims, and a variety of contract-based disputes. He also volunteers in the community and, over the years, has served the United Way, the American Heart Association, the City of Fort Myers Economic Development Advisory Board, the Department of Children and Families, and Teen Court.

Kelly received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University, magna cum laude, in 1993 and his law degree from Emory University in 1997.
