)-- Andy Horsfield, Director of Ruthless Entertainment announced today that an agreement has been reached with Break the Ice Media in NYC. BTI will market and distribute Ruthless' Buy Me A Drink App for iPhone is the US and Canada.
This is one of a series of New Tech deals Ruthless Entertainment has been working on, expanding their portfolio from traditional to new tech channels to entertain their audience with an emphasis on mobile technology to aid human interaction.
Ruthless work goes back to 2003, but Mr. Horsfield is better known for founding Global Underground back in 1996. While all of its early work is related to parties, events and music, Ruthless Entertainment is actively involved in the development of new enterprises. “New Tech is where the fun is these days,” says Andy Horsfield from his HQ in Asia. “Our products are stylish and appeal to a broad audience, we feel that BTI Media is the perfect partner to launch Buy Me A Drink in the US,” he added.
Break the Ice Media is a small fund from entrepreneur for entrepreneurs that acts as an angel investor with a small portfolio favoring new developments with strong female leadership.
Buy Me A Drink is “A great night out in an App,” says a BTI representative, “and it was created by a girl who wanted a drink.” She added this is one of the reasons why BTI reluctantly pursued the opportunity.
BTI-Media will soon reveal the release date for the iPhone version of Buy Me A Drink.
