Cumberland Toyota Donation to Susan G Komen Matched by Toyota

Cumberland Toyota, a Cookeville, Tennessee Toyota dealership, was able to donate $15,000 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation thanks to Toyota's Dealer Match program.

Cookeville, TN, July 02, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Cumberland Toyota has always been a proud supporter of quality charitable organizations, like Susan G Komen for the Cure. This past month with some help from Toyota’s Dealer Match Program, Cumberland Toyota was able to donate $15,000 to the Upper Cumberland affiliate of the Susan G Komen for the Cure foundation.

Toyota’s Dealer Match program allows dealers to nominate their favorite charitable organization. Once approved Toyota will match the donation made by the dealer. In this case, both Toyota Motor Co and Cumberland Toyota donated $7,500 for a total of $15,000.

Dealer principal Lanny Dunn knows the horrors of breast cancer all too well and was proud to be able to give back to the organization that helped his wife win her battle with the disease.

Cumberland Toyota, founded in 1987 has been a regular sponsor of Susan G. Komen’s “Tee It Up for a Cure” annual golf tournament. The golf outing is held each spring and has helped to raise more than $250,000 since it began only four years ago.
