EMW, Inc. holds a clothing drive for Goodwill to help collect donations that value over $2000.

San Francisco, CA, July 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- EMW Inc. worked with local companies to hold a clothing drive to collect clothes to be donated to Goodwill. Members of the firm got together to help gathering donations that valued over $2000.

EMW, Inc. is a sales and marketing firm based in San Francisco, CA. The company specializes in acquiring and retaining clients for national corporations. One of the company’s current clients is one of the leading telecommunications providers in the nation.

EMW, Inc. has been involved in several philanthropic ventures since its inception and has recently made it a common practice to give members of the company the opportunity to volunteer on a monthly basis.

Goodwill, also known as Goodwill Industries International, is a not-for-profit organization that provides job training, employment placement programs and other programs for those individuals who are disabled, lack education or job experience. The company was originally founded in 1902 under the name Morgan Memorial Cooperative Industries and Stores, Inc. by the pastor at Morgan Methodist Chapel in Boston, MA.

Currently, the clothing and household goods donated to Goodwill are sold in more than 2400 Goodwill retail stores and on its internet auction site. The company now has become a $3.25 billion not-for-profit organization.

Fifteen members EMW participated in the clothing drive. Together they were able to collect over 500 articles of clothing.

“We are excited to see the team get involved with giving back to the community,” says a team member at EMW. “We work hard in our careers and it is exciting to know that we can have such a strong impact with just a few of us.”

EMW has also volunteered with the Del Rosario Foundation and Operation Smile Organization. This summer the company will be helping host a charity golf tournament as well as a second charity poker tournament for Operation Smile.
