)-- EMW participated in a charity golf outing to raise money for a local charity. Members of the company joined local firms, family and friends in a golf tournament to help the Del Rosario Foundation in generating close to $10000 for the organization.
EMW, Inc. is a sales and marketing firm located in San Francisco. The firm, founded in 2006, is hired by national firms to represent their brand to current and potential clients. EMW specializes in client acquisition, retention and account negotiation.
The Del Rosario Foundation is a local San Francisco organization established by a close friend of one of the local firm’s executives. The foundation was established after a member of the community suffered a car accident that left her in a coma. The organization came together to help raise money for medical expenses.
The golf outing took place at Chuck Corica Golf Course in Alameda, CA. The event brought together 75 participants. Each person paid at least $75 dollars and gave additional donations. Members also donated gifts that could be auctioned off. Together their donations, participant entry fees and funds raised during auction helped the event reach close to $10,000.
“The foundation was established by a friend of mine. It is a tragic event that brought us together and I am glad we are help in making a difference. Our prayers go out to the family and hope that we have made a difference with our efforts,” explains a member of EMW.
Members of EMW have been involved in several other volunteer opportunities. The company has participated in clothing drives for Goodwill and charity events for Operation Smile. This summer the company plans another charity golf outing. This event will take place in July at a local golf course. EMW will also help host a second charity casino night for Operation Smile in August.
