Local Company in the Running for a $50,000 Grant to Help Save Arts Education

Philadelphia, PA, July 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Dynamic Video Lighting and Sound, LLC, a full service live production company has been named a finalist for the Pepsi Refresh Project. As one of one hundred finalists, Dynamic Video Lighting and Sound, LLC hopes to finish in the top ten. The top ten finalists are awarded $50,000, money Dynamic would use to put on an arts and music festival in Philadelphia, PA to support arts education.

The festival, tentatively planned for May 2012 at Festival Pier at Penn's Landing, would host an array of artists and musicians, from the local community as well as the national stage.

Lighting Designer Nathan Schlegel was quoted saying, "Philadelphia is desperately in need of help to keep the arts alive in their K-12 schools. The city is world-renowned for it's vibrant artistic community and it is important to provide new generations the opportunity to flourish artistically. What we are doing is not only going to help fund arts education, but also going to deepen the community's appreciation of the importance of the arts in our lives."
