Weber State University and Beynon, a Perfect Combination

WSU installs BSS 1000 with Embedded Texture.

Hunt Valley, MD, July 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Weber State University has started their highly anticipated renovations on Stewart Stadium and are getting ready to install their brand new Beynon Sports’ BSS 1000 full pour polyurethane running track.

The BSS 1000 has a bio-engineered force reduction layer that integrates very fine SBR rubber with environmentally-friendly polyurethane to create an impermeable shock absorbing cushion, making it the optimal surface for training and competing. The new track will allow the Wildcats to push their training and performances to the limit.

“With the installation of the state-of-the-art BSS 1000 track and field surface, Weber State has provided the Wildcat athletes with a surface that has a proven record of durability, trainability and speed,” said Drew Beynon, Chief Operating Officer of Beynon Sports Surfaces. “We look forward to continuing to foster a strong relationship with Weber State University.”

WSU athletic director Jerry Bovee hopes the renovations to Stewart Stadium are only the first of many more to come. “"I don't want to lose the momentum,” Bovee said. “I’m hoping to get the funds in place in the next six to eight months. I would hope that within two years; we're ready to go on the next phase. More than anything, we want to create an environment that when you come here, you have a great experience."
