Kaufmann-Rothstein International Soon to Release 2012 Traders’ Expectation Survey Results

In a recently concluded 2012 traders’ expectation survey of Kaufmann-Rothstein International, some respondents see much higher inflation rates in the US economy in the next few years and consider that being on the long stocks or commodities and short bonds or in the currency trading will be among the best investment in the next few years.

Haarlem, Netherlands, July 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Of 20,000 online respondents, the largest percentage anticipates deflationary effects in the near future; however, more than 80 percent claim that inflation will be the most dominant in the entire overall economic situation over the next few years. Given that market situation, almost 85 percent of the respondents responded to prefer being on long commodities while more than 70 percent prefer long stocks over the next few years. After a diverse outlook for the year 2012, nearly two thirds of the respondents also expect buying real estate as another option for good investment in the next three years.

Here are more of the survey results:
• 64% of the respondents think being short will be the best position for both bonds and the U.S. dollar over the next years.
• Among the stock market choices, survey respondents are most optimistic about the prospects for exchange traded funds and least optimistic about mutual funds.
• More than 70% think corporate bonds will be the most profitable bond market performer
• Among the commodity choices, respondents are bullish on energy (85%) and metals (86%) followed by agricultural commodities (76%)

With the probability of mounting inflation rates and the possibility of continued price instability, nearly 80 percent of respondents see these situations as a timely opportunity and not as a danger or risk and 67 percent of total respondents claim that they want to increase the number of their trades in the next six or twelve months. The traders’ expectation survey was conducted online in early 2010 with participants of nearly 20,000.
