El's Kitchen Introduces New Line of Gluten-Free Snacks

El’s Kitchen is proud to introduce two new gluten-free snacks: Medleys, a zesty snack mix, and Bagel Snaps, the only gluten-free bagel chip on the market.

Weston, CT, July 24, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Medleys and Bagel Snaps have no gluten, dairy products, nuts, eggs, trans-fats, hydrogenated oil, high fructose corn syrup, preservatives, artificial flavors, or cholesterol. Using only the best ingredients available, El’s makes great tasting snacks.

El’s set out to produce a unique gluten free snack mix, one that could be enjoyed both by those with celiac or gluten issues, as well as by the general population. Many different permutations were sampled when creating the mix, in the hopes of finding a chip or crisp that complemented other ingredients. There was nothing commercially available that met El’s exacting standards or had the right flavor and crunch. That’s when the idea was born to manufacture a bagel chip to include in the snack mix.

El’s takes gluten free flours, some canola oil, yeast and water and creates hand-made Bagels. But it’s El’s own spice blend that gives them that extra kick. And it’s the way they’re sliced and baked that gives Bagel Snaps their distinctive crunch. They’re so good they deserved to be sold on their own.

The Snaps are also mixed up with some other good things: potato chips, corn chips, pretzels, and corn nuts. Stir all those up with more of El’s zesty spice blend in a great tasting sauce, bake it all together and Medleys Snack Mix is the result.

Snaps are available in three-ounce and handy one-ounce grab-and-go bags, and Medleys retail in five-ounce and single serve two-ounce bags.
