)-- 414Lift Brings Family Friendly All Levels Boot Camp To South County
Boot Camp, the leading fitness trend in 2011, is being made available to all ages and fitness levels in Southern Palm Beach County through a new program from personal trainer Leo Garcia, and his company, 414 Lift. Like traditional boot camps, 414 Lift’s Boot Camp program challenges participants to push beyond their perceived limits. Unlike other programs, Boot Camp with 414 Lift is family friendly, and built on a platform of encouragement and group support. Coach Leo also allows for modifications of the exercises performed, and encourages participants of all ages and fitness levels to join in. Says Garcia, “I wanted to eliminate the fear associated with a Boot Camp workout in order to get people moving, people who might not have considered themselves capable of participating in a Boot Camp. We’re changing their perceptions of what they can do, and that can be as simple as seeing someone run 10 or 20 feet when they haven’t run in years.” 414 Lift offers Family Fitness and Senior Fitness programs, and Boot Camp is open to families, seniors or anyone interested in challenging themselves physically with the guidance of a trainer and the encouragement of a group dynamic. As for allowing families to join in, “I wanted working parents to be able to exercise without taking time away from their children. It’s also important to me to help parents begin a dialogue about fitness with their kids.” 414 Lift Boot Camps are held on Wednesdays in Bexley Park at 6:30 and Saturdays in Caloosa Park at 9 a.m.
