Dick Hannah Dealerships Donates Van to Vancouver Police Activities League

Vancouver, WA, July 28, 2011 --(PR.com)-- On Thursday, July 7th , Vancouver Police Activities League’s (PAL) youth members and Vancouver police officers who volunteer with PAL welcomed a new addition to the league; a Ford Windstar passenger van donated by Dick Hannah Dealerships. Dick Hannah presented the 8 passenger van to PAL youth members and volunteers. Vancouver Police Chief Clifford Cook officially accepted the van on behalf of the Vancouver Police Activities League. The van doubles as a moving billboard for Vancouver PAL as it has a full vehicle wrap which features Vancouver youth members and police officers to promote the program throughout the community.

The Vancouver Police Activities League works with the youth in the community by providing athletic and academic activities including environmental education, boxing, literacy, summer football camps and after school programs. With no permanent location to host activities, PAL is required to be on the move quite often. To learn more about the Vancouver PAL, see their web site at http://www.vancouverpal.com
