Hoegemeyer Homecoming Field Day August 11

Hooper, NE, July 31, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Hoegemeyer Hybrids annual Homecoming Field Day will be held Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, with a full line-up of guest speakers, equipment displays, special discounts on seed, and tours of Hoegemeyer seed plots and facilities.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Mark Pearson, host of the nationally syndicated public TV program “Market to Market.” Other speakers will include Dr. Tamra Jackson, a University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension Plant Pathologist and leading expert on corn nematodes, and Dr. Tom Hoegemeyer, chief technology officer at Hoegemeyer Hybrids.

Hoegemeyer agronomists and product managers also will be on hand throughout the day to provide details on Hoegemeyer products and answer questions from growers.

The annual Hoegemeyer Homecoming Field Day draws hundreds of growers from across the western Corn Belt to Hooper, Neb., home of Hoegemeyer Hybrids. The free event runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
