Seattle, WA, August 05, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- As many food establishments continue to struggle in the current weak economy there are a few who believe this is the perfect time to start having more fun with their promotions through social media. Pagliacci Pizza has teamed up with the local startup Foodcaching to create a trivia game for people who love pizza and music.
Starting Thursday, August 4th, Pagliacci Pizza, voted "Best Pizza" in numerous local polls, will start Music Trivia powered by Foodcaching’s real-time marketing game engine. The music trivia game will be played at five Pagliacci Pizza locations including University, Broadway, Queen Anne, Bellevue Square and Main Street in Bellevue. The grand prize will be two tickets to the Seattle Sounders FC September 10th match against Real Salt Lake with various other prizes including free fountain drinks, Pagliaccio salads, and 9" pizzas.
"A lot of employees at Pagliacci love music and this is a great way to deliver some fun to our customers," said Matt Galvin, co-owner of Pagliacci Pizza. Customers with iPhones and Android phones can participate in the Foodcaching Music Trivia Game by downloading the app to their smartphones at www.foodcaching.com and visiting any of the five participating Pagliacci Pizza restaurants.
Foodcaching, a new industry movement powered by a system developed by Redmond-based LightVantage, seeks to bring good food, great deals and geocaching together in one app that makes dining out an exciting social adventure.
