GreaterGood Network Adds New "Gifts" to Help Snow Leopards and Rare Frogs at The Rainforest Site

Seattle, WA, August 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The GreaterGood Network continues to expand the Gifts That Give More [tm] offered at The Rainforest Site. This program allows shoppers and other website visitors to make small donations that add up to a big result for conservation efforts and wildlife rescue projects.

The two latest Gifts That Give More [tm] benefit, respectively, endangered frogs in Central American rainforests and the imperiled snow leopards of the Himalayas.

The $25 Protect Las Tángaras Cloud Forest Gift protects a region in Colombia that serves as a home to several species of frogs were found. The area is also home to several threatened birds, including the endangered Chocó Vireo and Gold-ringed Tanager. Funding from this Gift will help the World Land Trust has been purchase and preserve the biologically important forest.

On the other side of the globe, the Snow Leopard Trust works with local communities to protect the wild cats from hunting. Founded in 1981, the Snow Leopard Trust is the world’s leading authority on the study and protection of the endangered snow leopard.
