Me Fine Foundation, Inc. Awarded $5,000 Grant by Golden State Foods Foundation

McDonald’s Distributor Supports Local Nonprofit

Raleigh, NC, August 07, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Lori K. Lee, founder of Me Fine Foundation, Inc. (http://www.mefinefoundation.org), has announced that the nonprofit received a $5,000 grant from the Golden State Foods (GSF) Foundation (http://www.gsffoundation.org), an organization which partners with local children’s charities nominated by GSF employees to receive strategic financial assistance accompanied by hands-on help from GSF volunteers to effectively serve children with various needs, including food, shelter, clothes, medical treatment, and more. The grant money will go toward Me Fine’s continued efforts to provide financial assistance to parents and caregivers sacrificing their livelihoods in order to provide their children with state-of-the-art or last-chance medical treatment at Duke and UNC Children’s Hospitals.

Quotes:
“Me Fine strives to provide necessary resources for families in financially and emotionally devastating situations,” said Lee. “It is only through the help of our generous supporters, like the Golden State Foods Foundation, that we have been able to directly assist more than 600 families in the past six years. I thank GSF on behalf of all of the Me Fine families who will now be able to receive assistance.”
