AIA Cracks the Franchise 50

Franchisee Response Earns Company Number Twelve Ranking, Best In Category Honor on Annual List

Neenah, WI, March 30, 2007 --( You never get a second chance to make a first impression. Thanks to Adventures In Advertising (AIA), one chance is all you need. The company’s creative products and unique packaging ensure that your business stands out from the rest. This above-and-beyond philosophy has not gone unnoticed: AIA was just ranked number 12 in Franchise Business Review’s second-annual Franchise 50 Awards and received the Best In Category honor for Advertising and Sales.

The Franchise 50 Awards are an annual ranking of franchise companies by their level of franchisee satisfaction. The awards recognize the top 50 franchise companies with the highest levels of overall franchisee satisfaction, as well as Best in Category and Honorable Mention awards in 16 industry categories.

For a prospective franchise buyer, the Franchise 50 is perhaps the most important resource to consider when deciding which company to invest in. The Franchise Business Review, a market research firm, compiles the survey responses from thousands of franchisees across the country. Each survey consists of 40 questions: the first 20 are specific to the franchisees’ satisfaction with their franchise system and the second 20 focus on market area, business lifestyle, demographic and personal skills questions. Since these answers are coming from actual franchisees, potential investors get a first-hand, unbiased look at each company. Companies were ranked based on a formula taking into account each company’s average survey scores, system size and rate of franchisee participation.

“The Franchise 50 Awards are like the People’s Choice Awards of franchising,” said Franchise Business Review founder and president Eric Stites. “Franchisee satisfaction and success is where the rubber meets the road in every franchise system. The Franchise 50 Awards are so important because it’s not us saying these companies are great, it’s their own franchisees – the real franchise experts.”

Adventures in Advertising is a network of franchised and affiliated promotional product and corporate apparel distributorships throughout the United States. The independently owned and operated offices develop strategic marketing and promotional solutions for businesses of all sizes using top-quality products and creative techniques tailored to their clients’ unique needs.

AIA locations provide local, personalized service and promotional items for direct mail, trade shows, employee incentives, company events, product introductions, corporate gifts, sports tournaments, sales meetings, safety programs and more.

Promotional products are items imprinted with a logo or slogan and given out to promote a company, organization, product, service, special achievement or event and include such popular items as apparel, drinkware, writing instruments and business accessories.

With 62 percent of their franchisees responding, AIA scored exemplary marks in the five main categories: overall satisfaction, financial opportunity, franchisor relationship, franchise system, and training and support. Though inclusion in the Franchise 50 Awards is an honor in and of itself, AIA hopes to not only make the list again next year but to improve upon their current standing.
