As part of a social networking push, Hendrick Chevrolet Cadillac is planning their first ever major social networking based sweepstakes contest. Starting August 19th, fans of Hendrick Chevrolet Cadillac’s Facebook page will have the opportunity to enter the sweepstakes contest.
Anyone over the age of 18 and living in either North or South Carolina is eligible to win. The entry form will be linked directly through the Hendrick Chevrolet Cadillac Facebook and Twitter pages, with additional linking on their website.
Hendrick Chevrolet Cadillac plans to start distributing literature and promoting this sweepstakes heavily during their family fun day on August 20th. They are devoting a day to their customers on August 20th, 2011 by doing a Family Fun Day. This day will have activities to cater to all ages, from the very young to teens, and adults.
Over Labor Day weekend, at the Matthews Alive Festival located in Matthews, NC, and Hendrick Chevrolet Cadillac will have 4 tents to showcase cars and push social networking. This event will be devoted to heavy promotion for both social networking and the Weekend Camaro Getaway Sweepstakes.
The Weekend Camaro Getaway Sweepstakes will run from August 19th to September 9th. Fans will enter via a portal that will become viewable on August 19th. Participants will be asked to enter basic contact information, all of which will be stored on a secure server. A winner will be electronically drawn at random from all entries on September 9th, and final results will be posted on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
