Dixon Young Lawyer of the Year Award for the second consecutive year. The award is given annually to a young lawyer who exceeds the standards of excellence, dedication and commitment to the FDLA and its goals. McKee is the Chair of the Editorial Board for the Trial Advocate Quarterly and has also published articles in this journal. The Trial Advocate Quarterly is the flagship publication of the FDLA, which is distributed to FDLA members and all members of the judiciary in Florida.
McKee concentrates her litigation practice in the areas of personal injury and professional liability defense. She also regularly represents the firms’ clients in appeals related to torts and insurance litigation. In 2010 and 2011, she was recognized by Florida Super Lawyers® magazine as a “Rising Star” in the field of civil litigation defense. McKee is a member of the Defense Research Institute. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Florida (summa cum laude) and her law degree from Stetson University College of Law (summa cum laude, Valedictorian).
