)-- A percentage of soufflé sales go toward a non-profit organization celebration.
RW Delights, Inc., maker of the best-selling “Heavenly Soufflés,” announced today their participation in City Harvest’s 25th anniversary celebration for the month of April. All this month, 25% of Heavenly Soufflés’ sales will go to City Harvest as part of their “25 for City Harvest” campaign.
RW Delights soufflés are currently available in supermarkets, and gourmet and specialty shops in the Tri-State area. For a complete list of stores visit www.heavenlysouffle.com. These delicious desserts are also sold as private label items nationally.
Wendy Friedmann, Co-Founder of RW Delights, stated, “Chocolate has been a passion of ours since childhood. We wanted to create an all-natural, chocolate soufflé geared to the person looking for a quick, easy dessert without sacrificing quality or taste. We believe strongly in the work City Harvest is doing and are excited to be included in the celebration with nearly 50 local eateries.”
In addition to the popular Chocolate, Chocolate Mint and Pumpkin soufflés, RW Delights will be adding two new exciting flavors this fall: Raspberry and Soufflé a l’Orange. Initially, these new flavors are available only at www.heavenlysouffle.com and through private label.
Executive Director of City Harvest, Jilly Stephens, said, “For 25 years, City Harvest has fed nearly 260,000 New Yorkers in need every week, thanks in part to the support of the city's chefs and restaurant owners. We are thrilled that Heavenly Soufflé is helping us commemorate our 25th anniversary by donating 25% of the proceeds from their all-natural, melt-in-your-mouth, rich Chocolate Soufflés throughout the month of April.”
