Industry Pioneer Teaches Salons How to Expand Their Business Through Retail Sales

Owner of Urbanbella salon, Keneesha Hudson will be speaking at the Atlanta Natural Hair Care Professional (ANHC Pro) September business breakfast. Keneesha Hudson’s product knowledge has lead to her being featured in Ebony magazine, CNN, Cosmo Girl, and multiple times in Essence magazine. Ms. Hudson will be speaking about retailing and how it has changed with technology and the growth of the natural hair care industry.

Atlanta, GA, August 19, 2011 --( Keneesha Hudson, Owner of Urbanbella, the curly, kinky, wavy hair apothecary and salon, will be the guest speaker for the September Atlanta Natural Hair Care Professional business breakfast. The breakfast is being held on September 19, 2011 from 10am to 12pm at Mojito restaurant located inside of Hotel Midtown. Hudson will talk about increasing salon and stylists profits with retail sales. In 2004, Keneesha Hudson began her career in the natural hair care industry with is an online boutique that sells products and provides tips for people with or transitioning to curly hair. From 2004 to 2006 the website sales grew tremendously, making possible the opening of Urbanbella’s first retail location. Urbanbella’s retail locations currently sell over eleven leading brands especially made for curly hair. As one of the nation’s first retail locations to specialize in products for curly hair, Urbanbella helped popularize such products as Miss Jessies, Jane Carter Solution, and Kinky Curly.

The breakfast is free for Atlanta Natural Hair Care Professional members and $15.00 for the general public. It includes of a breakfast buffet, a 30-45 minute presentation from the guest speaker and 30 minutes of open discussion leaving time afterwards for networking.
