AzCa Embroidery Invents "Take-A-Card" Cap for Tradeshow and Convention Circuit

AzCa Embroidery, Inc. has invented the "Take-A-Card" cap that fashionably displays business cards for easy portable distribution as an innovative marketing solution.

Phoenix, AZ, August 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- AzCa Embroidery, Inc., a contract embroidery small business based in Tempe, Arizona, has invented an innovative new marketing tool: the Take-A-Card Cap.

The Take-A-Card Cap is a cap with a discreet elastic pocket perfectly sized for business cards. Wearers have quick, easy access to their business cards at tradeshows, conventions, and other marketing opportunities, and the cap is an interesting conversation starter about the wearer's business.

AzCa CEO Nathan Milhoan explains, "We thought of the Take-A-Card Cap before a recent trip to a tradeshow in California. We weren't exhibiting there, but we still wanted a way to show off what our company is capable of and network with as many potential clients as possible. Since we embroider caps all the time, we realized we could use the trend to our advantage."

Milhoan and Marketing Coordinator Russ Kazmierczak, Jr. made a prototype. "We took the elastic band from a Flexfit hat," Kazmierczak describes, "and we asked a local alterations expert to make a pocket on the outside of the hat for us. We made four total."

AzCa wore the hats at the show and were very pleased with the results. "People approached us, asked for cards, and discussed potential work with us," Milhoan reports. "If we hadn't worn the hats, we never would've had the opportunity to get that work."

The pocket on the outside of the cap is placed on the side so the front can still be embroidered or decorated with a company's logo, or a catchphrase to draw attention to the business cards.

Kazmierczak says, "It's different and eye-catching. We call the Take-A-Card Cap marketing right off the top of your head."

Milhoan and company hope to market and manufacture the hat for distribution. For inquiries, contact info@azcaemb.com, or 1-888-374-2922.
