Switching Module Controls Up to Six Devices in Pool/Spa Applications

Costa Mesa, CA, April 04, 2007 --(PR.com)-- StacoSwitch announces the availability of the High Power Switching Module (PSM), a single electronic board that handles high current switching function, for pool/spa applications. Wired into the desired 6V to 28V DC system, the PSM board allows control of up to six different devices with 15 amps per channel. Switch action can be set independently for each channel to “alternate” or “momentary.” Optional StacoSwitch NEMA 4 keypad LED backlighting (green) and switch status indicators (red) can be independently adjusted on the PSM board.

StacoSwitch’s waterproof molded elastomer (“DEP”) keypads can be easily connected to the PSM with extremely light gauge wiring so since the power is switched at the board, not the keypad. This isolates the operator from the power, providing a safe environment away from the controlled accessories. Pool and spa accessories might include underwater lights, landscape lights, fans, heaters, sound/video systems, relays to control AC equipment, and other secondary equipment.

“The StacoSwitch power switching module is the best product on the market which allows the use of a keypad or other low current switches to control high current devices and equipment”, says Michael Carter, President of StacoSwitch. “Imagine being able to use a keypad to switch up to 15 amps on any one of six channels, with a total of 30 amps in all. The StacoSwitch power switching module allows designers and builders to get rid of ugly toggle switches, expensive flip flops and bulky relays. StacoSwitch is very proud to offer this unique and innovative product.”
