Workout for St. Jude Event to Raise Funds for Kids Battling Cancer

Achieve Fitness is running a benefit event for St. Jude Children's Hospital on at Danehy Park in Cambridge, MA. The event will feature fun, family friendly activities.

Boston, MA, August 26, 2011 --(PR.com)-- A Workout for St. Jude event organized by Achieve Fitness will power up on Saturday September 17th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Danehy Park in Cambridge to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, one of the world’s premier centers for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases. St. Jude is the top children’s cancer hospital in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report.

This volunteer-based “Workout for St. Jude” program will feature a series of various family friendly fitness related events, such as potato sack races, relay races, and pushup contests. Participants will be sponsored by friends, family and coworkers and will raise money based on how many events they participate in.
