Free Spine Health and Scoliosis Checks for Children Aid in Early Detection

A large number of children and adolescents will be diagnosed with scoliosis this year. Local Chiropractic office Case Chiropractic Center is offering free back-to-school spine checks in an effort to detect potential spinal problems early.

Canton, OH, August 28, 2011 --(PR.com)-- For children, back-to-school time is a great time to get back-to-health, too. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, about one in twenty-five adolescent girls and one in two hundred teenage boys develop scoliosis, and it may go quietly undetected until a child’s back is examined. In an effort to detect any spinal problems early, all school-aged children are invited to come to Case Chiropractic Center for a free spine health and scoliosis check the week of September 19th through September 23rd.

With summer coming to a close, many parents find it important to re-evaluate their children’s habits and take charge of their wellness routines, and early detection of potential spinal problems can help kids get the attention they need as early as possible. Due to high volume of spine checks, parents are asked to call the office at 330-454-5716 to request a time and date for the free spine check. Case Chiropractic Center is located at 425 Elgin Avenue, across from Waterworks Park in downtown Canton.
