On April 11th, Living With Chronic Illness Teleconference will provide you with an understanding of the changes in your life that may become permanent changes. To be discussed will be information on helping you recognize what you can do to make peace with your new life circumstance, and recognize when you may need additional psychological help. The emphasis will be on LIVING with Chronic Illness and finding the joy in your life once again.
Ms. Andrews holds a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and in Gerontology. Over the last 30 years she has led numerous support groups relative to loss. Included in these groups is a loss of job and loss of health. Other Support Groups she’s provided include Hospice Support for family members, Widows Support Group, Caregiver’s Support Group, and an Early Stage Alzheimer’s Support Group. In addition she has taught psychology classes at several colleges. As founder of Teleseminars for Successful Living program she has developed a series of seminars to help others learn new coping skills. On a personal note, Ms. Andrews has Multiple Sclerosis and has a personal understanding of living with a chronic illness. She, and other professionals, offer both private and group sessions along with Teleconferences.
