Down Payment Resource Will Connect Northern New England Realtors® and Homebuyers to Eligible Programs

Workforce Resource LLC and Northern New England Real Estate Network announce business partnership to integrate down payment assistance program detail and eligibility into local listing data

Atlanta, GA, September 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Atlanta-based Workforce Resource® and Northern New England Real Estate Network (NNEREN®) announced that the organizations entered into a contract to integrate Down Payment ResourceSM (DPR) with NNEREN's listing data, expanding the awareness and reach of local down payment assistance programs available to area homebuyers.

DPR, developed by Workforce Resource, connects eligible homebuyers and properties with government-funded programs for down payments, affordable mortgages, and rehab loans.

DPR is the first product to aggregate down payment assistance program information into one online platform and integrate the detail into Multiple Listing Services’ (MLS) listing data for homes currently on the market.

Real estate professionals and homebuyers searching for properties on NNEREN's website will find the DPR icon displayed on property listings eligible for one or more down payment assistance program. Homebuyers can click on the icon and answer eight simple questions to determine if they may also be eligible. In addition, real estate professionals can quickly view details about the assistance programs.

"Down Payment Resource is an outstanding concept that will undoubtedly translate into an essential tool for our members," said Andrew Werry, CEO of Northern New England Real Estate Network. "By incorporating buyer assistance program info, qualified by property location and price, into online displays, DPR will help uncertain buyers take a better informed first step toward purchasing. Moreover, it will add clarity to this often-confusing element of the home purchase process for all those involved, including the agent at the center of the transaction."

With hundreds of millions of dollars in down payment assistance programs available throughout the country, it is challenging for housing industry participants and homebuyers to understand and be aware of the requirements and benefits of multiple programs in each market. DPR simplifies that process for all involved, offering the first integrated solution to link specific programs to eligible properties.

“We are very pleased to partner with NNEREN's forward thinking leadership. They are providing a new way for their members to assist more homebuyers in finding affordable homes," said real estate and housing industry veteran Rob Chrane, founder of Workforce Resource. "DPR's value to the northern New England community and industry is far reaching. While homebuyers are the ultimate beneficiaries of the service, it also allows real estate agents and builders to sell more homes; lenders to make more loans to qualified homebuyers; and housing finance agencies to achieve their mission in a time of dwindling resources."
