Shine! Inc. was born out of Phoenix’s own struggles. After facing a life threatening illness which took her out of the entertainment industry in 2007, Phoenix found herself in a position of having to rebuild her life from the ground up. “I never want to see another woman go through what I had to,” she explains. “Struggling, starting from scratch, with no support and limited finances is just a terrible place to be.”
Shine! Inc. rounds out a series of successful business ventures for Phoenix since the 2007 incident. A private coaching practice, Inspired Solutions as well as a resurgence in her voiceover career have kept this multi-talented Canadian busy.
During a one year traveling sabbatical in 2010 is when Phoenix created the blueprints for Shine! Inc. “Every woman deserves to be the star in her own life!” Phoenix exclaims.
On her own return to on-camera; “I don’t think I could ever leave the film industry entirely; it’s my first love. I’ve learned a lot about business and creating success along the way, so why not share it. And besides, how can I coach people to live their dreams if I deny my own?”
