Over 50 Certificate Supporting Employers Sign Letters of Commitment to Work Hard - Work Smart

The National Career Readiness Certificate helps match entry jobs to prospective employees who possess the certificate. Some of the other benefits for employers committing to recognize the National Career Readiness Certificate are: help in locating qualified applicants, shortening the training and orientation process, increasing productivity by recommending or considering the National Career Readiness Certificate for job opportunities, increasing retention and the opportunity to retain, create and attract jobs. Any employer can sign a letter of commitment, and the best part is that it is free.

All of the Wichita county high schools are preparing to take the National Career Readiness Certificate assessment during October and November of 2011. Every high school senior in Wichita County will have the opportunity to take the National Career Readiness Certificate assessment for free. Region 9, Workforce Solutions – North Texas and Vernon College are ready for participants to start taking the assessment at their locations.
