Cityscape Latin America Will Offer Insights on the Brazilian Real Estate Market for Investors


From 7th to 9th November, worldwide investors will discuss key issues on the Brazilian Real Estate market, during the Cityscape Latin America 2011.

Sao Paulo, Brazil, September 16, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Organized by IBC, the Cityscape Latin America 2011 will offer a unique opportunity to institutional investors, developers, fund managers, and leading service providers gather to discuss opportunities in the Brazilian Real Estate market across the residential, commercial, retail, industrial, office and hospitality sectors.

After the economic storms in the US and Europe, there is a new configuration in the global economy. Among BRIC's emerging countries there are raising stars, such as Brazil. The Brazilian fast growing middle class is the key driving force behind the country’s spectacular economic growth and housing boom in recent years. In the last five years, Brazilian’s purchasing power increased by more than 40% and about 34 million people were lifted from poverty to middle class. The middle class now makes up about 74% of the total population from just 49% in 2005, according to a recent report by Cetelem Bank.

The opening session of Cityscape Latin America 2011 will present a comprehensive outlook of the Brazilian Economy, conducted by former presidents of Brazilian Central Bank Henrique Meirelles and Gustavo Franco, the economic policy secretary at the Brazilian Finance Ministry Marcio Holland, Bradesco Bank director of loans and financing Octavio de Lazari Jr., the economist at the Brazilian Chamber of the Construction Industry Luis Fernando Melo Mendes, and also the CEO of WTorre Real Estate Company Walter Torre Jr.

During the 3-day meeting, attendees will discuss the most appropriate strategies to gain market entry in Brazil, taking advantage of opportunities in all real estate sectors, forming partnership with the most successful local companies, and raising capital from all investment players of this fast growing market.
