NAMWOLF Gold Level Sponsor Support Continues to Expand

The National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) adds two Gold Level Sponsors to its 2011 Commemorative Sponsor list: NBC Universal and Visa.

Milwaukee, WI, September 18, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) announces today that NBC Universal and Visa have joined the association’s growing list of Gold Level Sponsors.

NAMWOLF is excited to be working with NBC Universal and Visa to support minority and women-owned law firms and improve diversity within the legal profession. M/WBE law firms hire and promote minority and women lawyers at much higher rates than majority owned law firms. Hence, greater support of those firms will necessarily lead to greater opportunities in the legal profession for minority and women lawyers. “NBC Universal and Visa demonstrate leadership and passion through sponsorship of our 10th Anniversary, serving as an example to peers and legal departments everywhere. We continue to be inspired by their support,” states Yolanda Coly, Sr. Director of Advocacy and Development.

2011 Commemorative Sponsorship allows NAMWOLF to bring together corporate counsel and M/WBE law firms at its Annual Meeting & Law Firm Expo. This year’s meeting, to be held at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, September 18-21, will feature motivational speaker Vernice “FlyGirl” Armour, six continuing legal education courses, professional networking events and an opportunity to meet some of the nation’s top-rated M/WBE law firms at the Law Firm Expo.
