Tampa, FL, September 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- DIG Coaching Practice presents "ADHD: Paying Attention to Attention" with host and attention coach, Jeff Copper, in an interview of Dr. Beth Briere on Attention Talk Radio. In this episode, Jeff interviews Dr. Briere about the fourteen sub functions of attention. Dr. Briere helped build a practical clinical model that helps individuals deconstruct attention as a means of building self-awareness and developing a learning plan. Based on research by Dr. Mel Levine around attention, her model is used at Success in Mind, a non-profit organization which she founded. Success in Mind offers help to students and others involved in a student’s education toward building a deep understanding and a common language that demystifies learning, values individual learning differences, and promotes success for each learner.

Previously, Dr. Briere had served as the chief clinical officer of the All Kinds of Minds® Student Success Program™ for four years. Also, she was an adjunct associate professor of pediatrics at UNC-Chapel Hill Medical School. Now, in her roles as executive director and lead clinician, she provides the vision and expertise to shape Success in Mind into a cutting-edge learning center.

Prior to that success, Dr. Briere was the medical director of CIGNA Medical Group in Phoenix, Arizona, where she was responsible for overall achievement of quality, service, employee satisfaction, and medical cost management for CIGNA’s 1,600 employees. Her earlier background includes five years as chief of pediatrics at the Medford Center of the Harvard Community Health Plan in Medford, Massachusetts. She received her BA from The Johns Hopkins University and her MD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. She did her internship, residency, and fellowship at Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Boston and is a board-certified pediatrician. When Dr. Briere is not at Success in Mind, she is busy running a house full of family, friends, and animals.
