OceanaGold Appoints Imaginet for Designing, Supplying, Implementing & Managing Upgrades of IT Services

Makati City, Philippines, September 23, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Imaginet International Inc, the leading systems integrator and managed network, hosting and content security services provider in the Philippines, has been selected by OceanaGold Philippines Inc. to design, procure, install and manage the 2nd Phase of their IT infrastructure & services in their mining site in Kasibu, Didipio, Nueva Vizcaya.
The project, which started on September 1, 2011, entails new IT infrastructure, adjusting configurations, and implementation. Imaginet considers factors like scalability, reliability, budget and maintenance when it comes to a complete network upgrade.
Imaginet will also be providing 24/7 Managed Network Services (MNS) to the OceanaGold mining site throughout the entire 18 month construction program. MNS will allow OceanaGold to focus on core business operations without worrying about network outages, performance, security, maintenance and regular monitoring.
