Surrey, United Kingdom, September 25, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- Long standing milk&more customer, Mrs Bettaney, celebrated being 100 years young this week.
To commemorate the special event, her favourite milk man, Rob Ellis, and milk&more Depot Manager Andy Barwell visited Mrs Bettaney at her home in Stockport and presented her with a special 100th birthday cake and a bouquet of her favourite flowers.
Mrs Bettaney has been a valued milk&more customer for 45 years and Rob, who has been delivering her milk and other daily essentials for over six years has built up many fond memories of this remarkable lady. “Over the years, it has been a huge pleasure to get to know Mrs Bettaney. She is full of life and energy and is a real inspiration to all that know her.”
Andy Barwell, milk&more manager, echoes that sentiment: “Mrs Bettaney is a firm favourite with everyone here and when we heard she was approaching this momentous occasion, we knew we couldn’t let it pass. We are proud to be able to serve Mrs Bettaney who we know has seen our service change dramatically during the past 45 years, probably the most radical shift recently has been to offer our milk&more service online. But the most important things remain the same… delivering first class customer service and really getting to know our local customers.”
