Sacramento, CA, September 26, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- The smell of fear is howling in the air as a new haunted theme park is being constructed in Sacramento. Fright Planet "World of Fear" is transforming the haunted ruins of Cal Expo's Paradise Island into what many are calling a one-of-a-kind theme park.
"We are extremely excited to call Cal Expo our new home. The layout, location, and room of this place is jaw dropping. Not to mention it's down right creepy!" stated Creative Director of Fright Planet Carlos Schollar.
Schollar noted that by now being at a location that can hold a lot more guests, the attractions can finally be built around the experience rather than the limitations of being in a different building year-after-year.
"Our haunted attractions are no longer just inside of a square building. We're also not outside in a field. We will send our guests through various levels of fear, both indoors, outdoors, through forests, and over bridges with water all around you. It's a level of detail that we could have never done before." Schollar added.
Fright Planet opens it's creaky doors on October 7th at 7:00 PM. If it's any surprise, their website and Facebook page is buzzing with anticipation.
"I cannot wait to visit Fright Planet's new location this year!" said Marcy Goodman, 25 from Rocklin, who was interviewed as she peered at the construction walls around the new Fright Planet location. "I can already see how this place will be downright terrifying at night!" added Goodman.
In total, this haunted theme park will boast five-massive haunted houses, a 3-D haunted movie theater, and a casket load of deadly surprises. It will sure be an entire night of frightful fun.
