Schubach Aviation Announces Expanded Facilities at Palomar Airport and Raises Funds for Charity

Carlsbad, CA, September 26, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Schubach Aviation celebrated the grand opening of its new 45,000-square-foot headquarters with a reception on September 7, 2011, in its private hangar located at 2026 Palomar Airport Road in Carlsbad, CA. Due to demand, the company outgrew its previous 33,000-square-foot headquarters. Festivities included an opportunity drawing and silent auction to benefit the Jammer Family Foundation in support of their objective to establish a solid support system to develop young leaders that will sustain a prosperous community. Schubach Aviation hosted the event along with its select partners: the Ritz-Carlton Destination Club, Symbolic Motors, Laura Barry of Barry Estates, and Maria Barry of Le Dimora. The event showcased several of Schubach Aviation’s luxury aircraft, and featured catering provided by Dinners by David and Donovan’s along with beverages served by Country Wine & Spirits and Macallan Scotch with entertainment provided by solo guitarist Don Clark.

According to Henry Schubach, President of Schubach Aviation, “Next year will mark our 20th anniversary in San Diego. Our new, larger hangar and office space will enable us to continue expanding our fleet of luxury aircraft, while providing customers with improved services such as spacious customer lounges, abundant parking and onsite conference/meeting facilities. Additionally, the new facility is entirely solar-powered, allowing us to minimize our environmental footprint.” Schubach elaborated that the company would soon be acquiring another Hawker 800XP aircraft, making Schubach Aviation one of the largest operators of this mid-size aircraft on the West Coast. The recently added Gulfstream G-IVSP aircraft, featuring on-board Wi-Fi, will augment Schubach Aviation’s ability to accommodate international travel to destinations worldwide.

Founded in 1992 by Henry Schubach, Schubach Aviation employs a team of forty-two highly experienced pilots, mechanics, and support staff at Palomar Airport in Carlsbad and at Lindberg Field in downtown San Diego and is the largest aviation charter company in both San Diego and Orange County.
