National Ladies Professional Group Launches Mentoring Program

National Ladies Professional Group, a public benefit organization that empowers women professionally and individually, launches its mentoring program and invites ladies of all experience levels from all industries to participate.

Los Angeles, CA, October 01, 2011 --(PR.com)-- At the Los Angeles chapter member event on Sept. 11, National Ladies Professional Group ("NLPG") launched its mentoring program, inviting ladies of all experience levels from all industries to participate. The program is designed to connect ladies at different stages in their careers and inspire recent graduates, experienced associates, managers and executives alike.

Mentoring is a partnership of inspiration and support that can shape and propel a woman’s career. NLPG’s program directs mentor and mentee to set formal meetings once a month to discuss specific goals and achievements, propelling women to excel as leaders in all aspects of their lives.

How is the mentor/mentee match made? NLPG’s National Mentoring Director, Pam Rondini, reviews member-submitted mentoring profiles taking into account goals, industry, preferences and personality before pairing women of similar ambition. Matches between the mentor and mentee are on a temporary basis and should last between 3 and 6 months.

In addition to encouraging one-on-one meetings, NLPG will sponsor mentoring events such as mixers and dinners for all participants. As of now, the mentoring program is being implemented within the LA area; however non-LA residents are encouraged to complete the mentoring profile found at www.nationalladies.org and submit to Pam Rondini as there will be opportunities as the organization grows.

If you would like more information on being a mentor, mentee or both, please contact Pamela Rondini, National Mentoring Director, at pam@nationalladies.org.
