A Star Studded Toast & Taste Benefit for Hunger in New York

New York, NY, October 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Celebrities are taking over Celebrity Chef Chris Nirschel's Kitchen for a noble cause, in an interactive culinary demonstration and tasting followed by a red carpet gala Saturday October 15th, 2011 at Copia Lounge - 307 E. 53rd Street (between 1st & 2nd Ave) NYC from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Highlights to include Renne Graziano of VH1’s new hit show, Mob Wives revealing her families most coveted recipes.

The Red Carpet event will include a roster of high society and New York Celebrities such as Ice T and Coco, Real Housewives Kim Granatall, VH1’s Mob Wives Renee Graziano, Jersey Shore’s Angelina Pivarnick, Jerseyliscious’ Tracy Dimarco & Lorenzo Gangala, DMX, Tashera Simmons and Tom Murro and many more. A percentage of proceeds from ticket sales and Silent Auction will go to benefit Food Bank For New York City. Additionally, Chef Nirschel will announce his personal donation to the Food Bank For New York City; cooking Christmas Eve Dinner for 500 Homeless at a Shelter in Harlem.

Each VIP Ticket includes: A one hour Interactive Cooking demo with Celebrity Chef Chris Nirschel and Special Celebrity Guests. Menu will consist of a French repertoire of gourmet hors d'oeuvres with drink pairings. A private Q & A segment with the Chef and celebrity guests. Red Carpet “Step and Repeat” entrance to Premier after Party and Silent Auction. A special guest performance and Celebrity DJ will host the After Party. All VIP Tickets will include an exclusive swag bag upon departure.

About Chef Chris Nirschel:
Chef Chris Nirschel has been featured nationally on CNN, NBC, The Food Network and seen in Food and Entertainment spotlights on the Daily Connection, Better TV and The Daily. Nirschel began his culinary career at French Culinary Institute in 2009. He became a Sous Chef at The Knickerbocker in New York and as his culinary expertise grew he became Executive Chef at Caffe Napoli in the historic Little Italy of Downtown Manhattan. His food stems from his family's heritage and culinary education which ranges from Argentinean, Italian, and French flavors that influence his cooking today.
