Broward SCORE Launches New Websites, Goes Mobile

Fort Lauderdale, FL, October 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Broward SCORE has launched two new Websites to make its programs and services more accessible to today’s professional.

The all-volunteer nonprofit that helps businesses start, grow and succeed migrated to Broward.SCORE.org just in time for the release of its fall lineup of workshops. Also new is BrowardSCORE.mobi, a Website designed for easy viewing on smart phones and tablets, without having to scroll or enhance fonts to read.

“Mobile technology is the wave of the future. We need to make sure the businesses we serve keep up with the times. We teach workshops about marketing trends. So it’s important that SCORE practice what it preaches,” said Eric Thompson, chair, of the organization.

The launch of Broward SCORE Websites is part of the group’s efforts to build a new level of sophistication to the way it communicates with the public. The nonprofit has also created an e-catalog of its fall 2011 workshops now available on both Websites. A version of the e-catalog designed for smartphones and tablets will be released soon.

“The e-catalog will make it very easy for the readers to view our workshops and events. They will b able to flip through the pages, double click on a specific session and date, making registration instantaneous,” said Broward SCORE volunteer George Gremse, who manages the organization’s workshop and events.
