National Ladies Professional Group Charters a San Francisco Chapter

National Ladies Professional Group, a public benefit organization that empowers women professionally and individually, launches a chapter in the San Francisco Bay Area today. The new chapter President, Ada Del Rosso, and Vice President, Christine Tomeo, will head up this effort in conjunction with the National Office to establish NLPG’s second chapter.

San Francisco, CA, October 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- National Ladies Professional Group ("NLPG") is pleased to announce that Ada Del Rosso and Christine Tomeo have completed the chartering process to start an NLPG chapter in the San Francisco Bay Area. The chapter’s first member event is scheduled for Sunday, January 8, 2012 with informational coffee meetups to be hosted across the Bay Area in the interim. Ladies are encouraged to register through the organization’s website (http://www.nationalladies.org) in order to be included in announcements regarding upcoming events.

SF Bay Area President, Ada Del Rosso received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology from the University of Southern California where she held positions in her sorority, Panhellenic and Rotaract and participated in USC's case team. She has interned at Merrill Lynch and Apple and is currently a Financial Analyst at NetApp. Ada enjoys cooking, golf, working out and college football.

SF Bay Area Vice President, Christine Tomeo received her bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. Christine is an Associate Consultant with Barakat Consulting Inc., a minority owned market development company for the energy and service industry. She loves walking with her dog, snowboarding, watching football and baseball and spending time with friends and family.

The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter will be the second chapter to join NLPG since its inception in May 2011. NLPG is a fast growing nonprofit that is preparing to onboard multiple chapters in big cities while continuing to expand their LA and SF base.

NLPG’s National Office consists of eight officers who support NLPG chapters by maintaining NLPG’s website, member registration, social media and directing NLPG initiatives such as mentoring and philanthropy. The National Office guides new chapters through the chartering process after which new chapters elect additional chapter officers, recruit members and plan events as they see fit while reporting to the National Office and representing NLPG’s mission.
