Cumberland Chrysler Center Raises Money for Local School

The Cumberland Chrysler Center is proud to support local elementary schools with their Drive for the Kids program.

Cookeville, TN, October 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Cumberland Chrysler Center is pleased to announce the success of their most recent Drive for the Kids event. This event was held at Algood Elementary in Cookville, Tennessee and proceeds were set to go directly to the school.

The event allowed participants to test drive one or more of several of the new Chrysler models for a small $10 donation. The goal with this event was to raise just $1,000, which meant they needed 100 test drives that day. Thanks to a great showing the Chrysler dealership was able to provide 260 test drives for a total donation to Algood Elementary of $2,650, well surpassing their goals.

The Cumberland Chrysler Center has been hosting these events throughout the summer and fall seasons, in an effort to help the local schools. So far the Cookeville based dealership has been able to help the students at Algood Elementary and at Capshaw Elementary, with other similar events raising money for Cookeville High School. The next Drive for the Kids event has yet to be set, but more information will be released when details are set.
