Boston, MA, October 19, 2011 --( Moms in Business Unite, offering a unique educational conference to enhance the professional and personal lives of women and mom business owners, announced today that its first Boston conference was a success, as nearly 50 women gathered at Cummings Center in Beverly on October 12 to learn and be inspired. The most common comment heard throughout the day was “we want more,” as the incredible panel of high quality speakers shared their expertise and generated tremendous energy and focus.

One of the highlights of the event was announcing the winner of the Best New Product of the Year, Parachute Dog, a waste kit for dogs created by Patricia Nolan-Brown. Five women-owned businesses participated in the Boston Inventor Showcase, getting a chance to showcase their new products to attendees who voted on which one they thought was “best.”
