Wilson Family to Host a Student from Germany

The Wilson/Roberts family of Sudbury, MA will be hosting a student from Germany as part of the LIncoln Sudbury Regional High School - Vilshofen Exchange.

Sudbury, MA, October 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Tammy Wilson, Director of Business Development for Rapport International, LLC is excited to host an exchange student from Germany. For the third year in a row, the Wilson/Roberts family of Sudbury, MA will be hosting a student from the Gymnasium Vilshofen as part of the Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School – Vilshofen Exchange. The Gymnasium Vilshofen is located in southeastern Bavaria, on the Danube River and on the edge of the mountains known as the Bavarian Forest. Vilshofen is a small town approximately the size of Sudbury (17,000 people). While here, the students will attend classes, participate in special events, take day trips into Boston, and spend three days in New York City.

The exchange is part of the German American Partnership Program (GAPP), a non-profit high school exchange program between schools in Germany and the United States. The exchange is sponsored by the German Foreign Office and by the U.S. Department of State. The main objective of the program is the integration of students into the everyday life of host families and into the classroom activities of host schools to provide them with a coherent intercultural experience.

The Wilson/Roberts family is looking forward to the opportunity to meet a new student, learn about a different culture, and communicate in a foreign language.
